Lanfang Gu’an Four points by Sheraton

This project merges the classical Chinese gardens concept with modern architecture to create a beautiful fusion of the old and new. Divided into volumes that match the different hotel functions, the building features a stunning skylight at the central node: the public lobby. I designed the facades to play with the duality of a low horizontal public podium and a high vertical guest room block, with a woven design that incorporates the thickness of the stone material. I was involved in the full scope of the project, from massing to facade details, construction drawings, and on-site follow-up.
