Settled in a new district of the city, the site is already holding the headquarters of Chongqing Broadcasting Group, shaped like a half moon. We proposed the expansion to close it, creating a private central plaza and a strong facade along the main street. The design is inspired by the information flux, symbolized in the strips of the building. The South part of the building holds the studios and related functions, organized along a full-height atrium providing natural light. The North part holds the office spaces, connected with the existing building. I have done the competition stage with 2 interns, and after winning the competition, I kept on developing the schematic design and government report myself (3D model development, technical drawings, presentation file).
