On the East side of the 3rd ring road of Fuzhou, the site is composed of 4 lands. Each land has a particular program (Hotel, shopping mall, offices; Soho; Housing). We chose to design the mall framed by the hotel and the 150-meters-height office tower. This complex becomes the start of an East-West pedestrian commercial street that crosses the site through the Soho buildings. The main towers are shaped like flowers, gently extending and retracting. The Soho towers are shaped like mountains, creating public terraces at different levels. I successfully designed this project with one junior designer and secured the land with the mall, office, and hotel towers. I carried on with a bigger team for the Schematic Design.
